I am gathering a group of 16 crazy reckless like-minded people to fit into 4 SUVs(4×4) and… LET’S GO!
5-18 July you will visit MONGOLIA + GOBI DESERT + NAADAM festival + SILWAY RALLY with winners of DAKAR!!!
Now let me tell you about this fantastic 4×4 adventure expedition through the roads of Genghis Khan. And don’t forget to share this with your friends after you read it – thanks a lot! I am not stopping after the very successful Peru trip and 2019 is going to be super active for me! This adventure will easily blend in Silk Way Rally with Dakar stars as they will be crossing Mongolia.
12 days in Mongolia. We will be crossing it from North Taiga down to southern Gobi Desert. During that time NAADAM festival will take place in the whole country. It’s like Midsummer festival or St. Patrick’s day, just lasts way longer. It’s like the Olympics for archers, wrestlers, and horsemen. Capital Ulan Bator + Buddhist monasteries + hunting eagles + staying in yurts and tents + limitless steppe + canyons + breathtaking sunsets + biggest subtropical Gobi Desert + real two-humped camels + nomad food + internet-free vacation + meeting local people and ONLY ADVENTUROUS FOREVER YOUNG (AT HEART) AND OPENMINDED TRAVEL COMPANIONS!
You know I can’t travel with grumblers, whiners, and naysayers. But if it happens I get one in my group (which is especially rare, I had two people like that out of a hundred) then we have an anti-virus system for them. If they resist, we leave them hitch-hiking to the airport.
So this is the right choice if you want a getaway from civilization. If you love photography or even if you don’t. If you love flying drones. If your camera is your phone. If you are a crazy adventurous person – this is for you. And for your +1 or +2 ☺
We will drive Toyota Land Cruiser 100’s ourselves. This will be total freedom!
As they say – live your dreams, don’t dream your life! 😛
We jump, we fall, we dance, we crawl and climb, we scream and sing – the camera gives freedom. I hear many questions: who else is going, will the trip really take place and many various what ifs… I can tell you one thing – this will definitely be one more crazy adventure for you (or maybe your first)! Everything will be not only just fine but it will be great! Why? – Because I am with You. And yes, there are always unexpected problematic situations but we turn them into photo adventures and solve in a fun way.
SO LET’S GO! Enough with excuses! I will make you do something you’ve never done before in your life! I guarantee great company for you as my previous trip experience proves me that only adventurous photo lovers are keen to come along!
In this training you will learn to shoot in different conditions and various photo genres: portrait photography, street photography, sunrises and sunsets, night shooting, action photography, you will work with reflectors and external lighting sources. And this is just a shortlist of all the photo challenges. This training will enable you to get better at technical part of shooting, manual settings, exposure control, understanding and adjusting to changing circumstances. We will devote lots of attention to composition, I will organize photo reviews and we will stay up all night staring at the big screen and reliving the days.
Take your camera, lenses and let’s go! If you do not own one, I can rent a professional or amateur Canon or Nikon for you. I can also consult if you decide to buy something even last minute!
